Digital Asset Licenses
When you purchase a digital product (e.g., PHP script, WordPress plugin, website template, mobile app source code, or graphic design file) on Snipcask, you do not purchase the copyright or underlying intellectual property. You receive a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the item under the conditions below:
A. Standard License
- Authorizes the use of the digital asset in one (1) single end product for personal or commercial use (for yourself or on behalf of one client).
- The end product must not be distributed, licensed, or offered in a way that allows end users to extract or modify the raw source code or assets.
- Prohibited: You cannot re-distribute, sub-license, resell, share, or publish the source code, design assets, or modified variations on any platform, repository, or marketplace.
B. Extended License
- Authorizes the use of the digital asset in one (1) single end product where end users may be charged for access or use (such as a SaaS platform, a paid commercial software application, or an app sold on mobile marketplaces).
- Prohibited: You may not extract individual code components, graphics, or assets to resell or redistribute as standalone components or templates.
C. Universal Licensing Rules
- You cannot claim intellectual or exclusive ownership of any asset downloaded from Snipcask.
- Embedding assets into an open-source project or publicly visible Git repository without access restrictions is strictly prohibited.
